Money laundering is a serious problem of the society. Nevertheless, as for the expression, it was pretty mind-boggling for me to know its etymology. I've done a little research about how this expression is named in other languages, and noticed, that english, russian, german, polish, dutch and spanish equivalents for this phenomenon have something in common: they all are connected with "laundering".
